Childbirth for Young Parents

Learn about the development of your pregnancy, what to expect during your birth, and post-labor in a safe space, open environment with experienced nurses and peer support designed for you to gain knowledge and confidence to advocate for your best birth experience. View flyer.

This class is for pregnant people who are 24 years old and younger. Young Roots Oregon is a culturally specific organization serving teen parents up to age 24. However, if a partner/co-parent is older than 24 years old, they are also welcome to attend courses and events.

The class is held on Wednesdays, 3:00-4:30 pm, from October 15 to November 19, 2025, at YRO Family Hub, 1630 9th Ave SE, Albany.

Cost: Free, with transportation, child care, and dinner provided.

Instruction will be in English, with no translation support. Spanish class is from 5pm – 6pm.
