Live & Learn Discovery Lab

Learn how to follow your child’s natural sense of wonder and desire to explore in this STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) based class for children and their parent/caregiver. Participants will learn the importance of play-based learning as they measure, build, experiment, problem-solve, and discover the world together. View flyer.

This class is for parents/caregivers and their children ages 2.5 – 5 years. Enrolled adults are required to pass the Greater Albany Pubic School’s background check in order to participate.

Class meets on Tuesdays, 9:30-11:20 am from March 31-June 2, 2026, at South Albany High School, 3705 Columbus St SE, Albany.

Cost: $100/adult and one child. $10 lab fee for each additional child. Partial tuition scholarships are available for those facing financial challenges.
