Juntas Con Esperanza
Are you pregnant or have you had a baby? Are you feeling sad, irritable, isolated, or anxious? Together with Hope is a Spanish-language support group for mothers who are pregnant or have preschool-aged children at home. Light refreshments will be provided. View flyer
This group is designed to offer as much support as possible to mothers and their families. Motherhood is beautiful, but it can also be stressful. Any woman—regardless of culture, age, income, or race—can experience depression or anxiety. These symptoms may appear at any time during pregnancy and for up to 12 months after the baby’s birth. Research shows that peer support groups can be highly beneficial.
This group meets on Mondays from 11:00 – 1:00 pm at the Young Roots, 1630 SE 9th Ave, Albany.
Cost: Free
In this group, you will find a place where you will be heard, understood, supported, and informed. For more information, call: Rocio Badger: 541-812-4303 or 541-220-5817, Yessenia Sanchez: 541-220-5653
