Courageous Engagement When There is Conflict for Young Parents

Join parents just like you who want to learn a simple way to strengthen their parent-child relationship. Helping parents and partners recognize and respond to everyday conflict and crisis situations. People will recognize and identify their own triggers, body responses to crises, and how to settle their own bodies. They will gain verbal de-escalation skills and how to support others in working through conflict. View class flyer in English and Spanish.

This class is for teenage and young parents up to 24 years old living in zip codes 97321 and 97322.

Class meets on Thursdays, 6:00 – 8:00 pm from April 4 – June 6, 2024 at Young Roots Family Hub, 1630 SE 9th St., Albany.

Cost: Free. Free on-site child care and dinner at 5:30 pm.  Free materials and incentives for participation.
