Effective Black Parenting Program

This course is taught in Spanish

This program is the first to teach basic parenting skills from the history and perspective of African American culture. Skills are taught through African proverbs to show the relationship of parenting skills through the view and wisdom of African ancestors. View flyer in English and Spanish

Topics include:

  • Generational parenting techniques
  • Develop positive discipline techniques
  • Create a positive learning environment
  • Effective family communication

Class meets online every 3rd Monday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm from April 15 – July 15, 2024. Attending this class requires an internet device with a camera and microphone.

Cost: Free.
