FACT On-Demand Training: Transitioning to Kindergarten for Students with Disabilities
This on-demand online course helps families prepare for their child’s transition to kindergarten. Starting school brings many big changes, especially for children with disabilities. This class gives parents simple tips and tools to make the transition smooth and successful. Parents will learn how the school system works and how the Individualized Education Program (IEP) supports their child’s learning. The lessons also teach parents how to be their child’s biggest supporter and advocate so they can work closely with teachers to get the right help.
This class is for parents, family members, and caregivers of children with disabilities who are getting ready to start kindergarten.
