Autism Parent Support Group (online)
This online support group helps families navigate the journey of raising an autistic child. Offered by the Autism Society of Oregon, the group provides a safe, welcoming space for parents to connect, discuss practical strategies, and gain valuable insights. Participants will have the opportunity to share both triumphs and concerns, seek guidance on navigating school systems, and find deep emotional support. The sessions aim to empower families and celebrate the journey of parenting an autistic child.
This group is for parents, family members, and caregivers of autistic children, teens, and young adults aged 0 to 22.
This interactive support group meets online via Zoom, allowing families to join and connect from the comfort of their own homes. The sessions are facilitated by Lori Ball, the Autism Society of Oregon’s Programs Coordinator and a parent of an autistic child, ensuring a deeply understanding, peer-led environment.
