Incredible Infants for Young Parents
This 10-week parenting program is designed to help parents and caregivers learn how to understand the developmental needs of infants; learn how to respond to your child’s needs by enhancing your connection; give children a feeling of security and confidence so they can explore, learn, grow and build positive relationships; and understand your child’s emotional world.
This class is for teenage and young parents up to age 24 that reside in Linn and Benton Counties.
The class meets on Tuesdays, 5:30-7:30 pm. Begins January 7 for 10 sessions, January 7 – March 11, 2025, at the Young Roots Oregon Family Hub (Periwinkle Plaza, 1630 SE 9th Ave, Albany).
Free on-site child care and dinner at 4:30 pm. Free materials and incentives for participation.
Young Roots Oregon is a culturally specific organization for teen parents through age 24, but if a partner/co-parent is older than 24 years old, they may attend courses and events as we believe in empowering the family unit as a whole.
