Mi parto y el cuidado de mi bebé

Prepare for birth and early parenting with confidence. Mi parto y el cuidado de mi bebé is a Spanish-language childbirth education series designed to help families understand what to expect during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early weeks with a newborn. View flyer.

This class is for pregnant people and their support partners who prefer to learn in Spanish.

Topics covered include:

• Healthy pregnancy, anatomy, physiology, and preterm labor
• Labor and birth
• Comfort measures and labor support
• Possible medical interventions during labor and birth
• When a Cesarean birth is needed
• What to expect during the hospital stay
• Newborn appearance and breastfeeding
• Postpartum recovery and care

This class meets on Thursdays, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm, on March 5 – April 16, 2026 (No class on March 12) at the at Samaritan Albany General Hospital, Reimer Building (located in the parking lot).
