Childbirth Classes

These bilingual (English and Spanish) Healthy Moms childbirth classes help parents learn how to have a healthy pregnancy and birth, manage labor, and care for and feed their baby. You will cover essential pregnancy and birth preparation, as well as a baby shower with gifts for parents and babies, on the class’s graduation day!  View flyer.

This class is for expecting parents. Space is limited, so please sign up early!

Class meets: September 17 – October 29, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 pm at Newport Recreation Center, 225 SE Avery Street, Newport. Call for specific meeting days and dates.

Cost: Free. Dinner is provided, and participants will receive gifts for parents and babies at a baby shower.
