OHSU Understanding Infant and Child Safety (Self-guided eClass)
This self-paced online course provides essential safety skills to keep babies safe from birth to 12 months of age. Using a mix of learning tools, it covers creating a safe home environment, safe sleep practices, childproofing, and staying safe while out and about.
This class is for anyone caring for an infant, including new or expecting parents, grandparents, and other caregivers. Participants can take this course either before or after the baby is born.
The self-guided eClass takes about 3 hours to complete and includes seven months of online access. Materials are available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, German, French, Arabic, and Japanese.
The fee is $95, which covers up to two participants.
