Positive Parenting: Help and Support for Challenging Behavior

This course is taught in Spanish

This free 10-week online program helps families learn how to handle difficult behaviors. Run by the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program at the University of Washington, this class is also part of a research study. Parents will meet online in a friendly group to learn together. The class uses a style called Project ECHO (“All Teach, All Learn”) where everyone shares ideas. In a private, safe space, a team of experts will teach you proven tips to help you understand and better guide your child. View flyer

This class is for parents and caregivers in the Pacific Northwest who have children ages 3 to 12. It is designed for families whose children have—or might have—a developmental delay or disability.

The class meets online every week, so you can easily join from home. To ensure everyone can participate, the program offers computer-assisted translation and live help in Spanish.
