FACT On-Demand Training: ABCs for Little Ones in Early Intervention and Early Childhood Special Education

This on-demand online course helps families navigate early childhood services for their young children. If your baby, toddler, or preschooler has a disability or a developmental delay, this training provides the vital guidance you need. Parents will learn how children qualify for services, what types of early intervention are available, and how to be actively involved in their child’s early education plan.

This class is designed for parents, family members, and caregivers of babies, toddlers, and preschoolers who have developmental delays or disabilities.

This self-guided training is fully online and can be watched whenever it fits into a family’s day. The main video recording is in English, but closed captioning is available in multiple languages. To use this feature, parents can open the video link, click the Settings gear icon, and select auto-translate along with their preferred language.

To take this on-demand training, families can visit the FACT Oregon On-Demand Trainings Page and follow these simple steps. First, click on the image or button of the training of interest. Next, fill out a quick online registration form. After submitting the form, check your confirmation email to find the training link. Once received, parents can take the interactive training at their own pace.
