Childbirth for Young Parents

Learn about the development of your pregnancy, what to expect during your birth, and post-labor in a safe space, open environment with experienced nurses, and peer support designed for you to gain knowledge and confidence to advocate for your best birth experience. View flyer

This class is for pregnant people up to age 24 and their partners who reside in Linn and Benton Counties.

The class meets on Wednesdays, 3:00-5:00 pm, from March 26 to April 30, 2025, at the Young Roots Oregon Family Hub (Periwinkle Plaza, 1630 SE 9th Ave, Albany).

Free on-site child care, transportation, and dinner provided. Free materials and incentives for participation.

Young Roots Oregon is a culturally specific organization for teen parents through age 24, but if a partner/co-parent is older than 24 years old, they may attend courses and events as we believe in empowering the family unit as a whole.
