Childbirth Preparation: Medical Procedures

This class will discuss informed decision-making during labor, methods for inducing or augmenting labor, fetal monitoring, the use of IV fluids, and options for medical pain relief- including nitrous oxide, analgesics, and epidural anesthesia. It will also cover possible interventions during the pushing (second) stage of labor.

This class is for expectant parents in the third trimester.

Class meets virtually on December 8, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm.
